PROPER CARE OF YOUR VINTAGE WATCH 1. Wind your watch fully when you first receive it and about the same time every day. Wind it until the crown (the winding knob) stops. 2. Vintage watches are not fully waterproof or dust-proof. Use common sense in this regard. For example, remove your watch when washing your hands or at the beach. 3. Should your watch get exposed to extreme moisture, take it to a repairman the same day. Watch parts can start to rust almost at once. 4. Avoid wearing your watch when exercising or performing activities that cause the watch to rattle. 5. Have your watch serviced by a trusted repairman every 2-5 years. 6. Vintage watches are little mechanical wonders that are artfully crafted. With care, your watch will be in usable for many years to come.
